Membership Options for Every Organisation

BCA Annual Membership is designed for organisations who want ongoing access to independent expertise, practical resources and industry insight.


Through one cost-effective annual fee, members receive access to a broad suite of advice, training, events and learning resources designed to strengthen internal capability, support better decision-making and help screening programmes remain current and effective.


Members also become part of the Smarter Background Checking Community, creating opportunities to learn from peers, discuss shared challenges and understand how other organisations are responding to changes in regulation, technology and hiring risk.


Our three membership tiers ensure that organisations of different sizes can access the same core benefits, with the number of nominated users and consultancy support scaled to suit their requirements

HOW annual MEMBERSHIP WORKS

Dedicated Consultancy Support

 Members have access to specialist background screening advice throughout the year, helping them address questions relating to policy, process, products, providers, adjudication, re-screening and emerging risk.


Each member organisation also receives a dedicated consultation with BCA founder Anton Watson. 


This can be used to review an existing programme, assess a policy or process, discuss provider performance, identify cost or efficiency opportunities, or plan the next stage of programme development.

Investigator Training

 Membership includes access to selected BCA training, including quarterly investigator development sessions.

BCA’s Foundation training covers key areas such as

FREE Attendance at all Smarter Background Checking Events

 Members receive access to the BCA Annual Learning Event, selected briefings, workshops and other learning opportunities throughout the year.

BCA Learning Library

 BCA Membership gives nominated users access to a growing programme of online learning, practical guidance and downloadable resources designed to build confidence and capability across every stage of background screening.


The Learning Library supports both new and experienced screening professionals. Members can develop their knowledge at their own pace, revisit important subjects when needed and find practical tools to help with real policy, process and investigation challenges.


Content ranges from introductory training for new joiners through to more advanced learning on investigations, candidate communication, documentation, adjudication, hiring fraud and programme design

Regular industry intelligence

Monthly updates covering important legal, regulatory, operational and market developments affecting background screening. 

 


 We offer three annual membership tiers designed to support organisations of different sizes and levels of screening maturity. Whether you are a smaller business looking for trusted guidance, a growing organisation developing its screening programme, or a large enterprise managing complex global requirements.

ENTERPRISE MEMBERSHIP

Designed for organisations with more than 500 employees and up to 20 nominated users.

 

Enterprise Membership is suited to larger organisations managing complex, high-volume or international screening programmes.


It supports collaboration across HR, Talent Acquisition, Compliance, Security, Procurement and screening teams, helping stakeholders remain aligned on policy, process, provider performance and emerging risk.


Enterprise members receive the full range of membership benefits, together with a two full-day's annual consultation with Anton Watson that can be used for an in-depth programme review, strategic workshop or focused advisory projects.

£4,500 PER ANNUM

Only one membership fee is required per organisation, providing nominated users with access to the relevant advice, resources, training, forums and events included within their membership. 

VENTURE MEMBERSHIP

Designed for organisations with between 250 and 500 employees and up to 10 nominated users.

 

Venture Membership is designed for growing organisations that are developing, formalising or strengthening their screening programme.

It provides ongoing access to independent expertise, practical resources and professional development, helping teams improve policies, processes, investigations and provider relationships as the organisation evolves.


Venture members receive the full range of membership benefits, together with a full-day annual consultation with Anton Watson focused on an agreed screening priority.

£3,000 PER ANNUM

Only one membership fee is required per organisation, providing nominated users with access to the relevant advice, resources, training, forums and events included within their membership. 

ENDEAVOUR MEMBERSHIP

Designed for organisations with up to 250 employees and up to five nominated users.


Endeavour Membership gives smaller organisations access to specialist background screening expertise without the cost of maintaining a large internal screening function. It is ideal for teams seeking trusted guidance, practical resources and support with policy, process, provider selection or difficult screening questions.


 Endeavour members receive the full range of membership benefits, together with a half-day annual consultation with Anton Watson focused on their most important screening requirement. 

£1,500 PER ANNUM

Only one membership fee is required per organisation, providing nominated users with access to the relevant advice, resources, training, forums and events included within their membership.
